Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine Doctor, Dr Med. Vladimirs Skļarevičs has been working at the DAP pain clinic since 2003.

Performs posture problem analysis, pain cause diagnosis, pain treatment, posture correction measures, advises on occupational ergonomics issues. 

Patient target groups – spine diseases, including intervertebral disc problems, spondylarthritis, coccygodynia, fibromyalgia, cervicogenic headaches, hip, knee, foot and shoulder joint arthritis, arthralgias, adolescents with posture problems, as well as flat feet. By the methods of visceral manual therapy, the symptoms of the some diseases of the thoracic and abdominal organs, adhesions and functional disorders can be treated. Consultations are provided to patients after surgeries, injuries and illnesses on rehabilitation opportunities, including development of a medical exercises program.

The most common complaints of patients – pain of different localization, disorders of vegetative regulation, neuropathies (nerve bruising), joint deformities, dizziness, muscle cramps. 

Treatment methods to be used – manual therapy, osteopathic techniques, soft tissue injections without visual control, medicament treatment.

Consultations on ergonomics of working conditions and physiotherapy activities.

  • 1999-2002 Doctoral studies at  RSU. 2003-dissertation advocacy.   
  • Docent at the RSU Institute of Rehabilitation 2006-2009.
